Obituary: Janet Lindney Baltes Taylor, 56, of East Flat Rock, N.C. passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010.
She was a native of Spartanburg, S.C., the daughter of the late Clyde and Lettie Ruth Moss Spearman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Baltes; sisters, Betty Covil and Ruth Hicks; grandmother, Lonnie Lindsay; and a dear friend, Judy Huckabee.
Ms. Taylor was a former employee of Michelin Tire, and an alumnus of Winthrop College. She was a great lover of music and animals as both brought her unconditional joy.
Surviving are her daughter, Rory Elizabeth “Beth” Baltes of Spartanburg; nephew, Scott Covil of Moore; nieces, Alisha Coffin of Hendersonville, N.C., and Robbie Peters of Inman; and a dear friend, Sandra Malone of Lyman.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal services.
