Obituary: Pisgah Forest-Warren M. West, Jr., 64, of 1142 Wilson Road, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 20, 2010 at Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC. A native of Transylvania County, he was born on April 13. 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren M. West, Sr. and Nola Britt West; and a very special nephew, James E. West.
Left to cherish his memory are a brother Fred West and wife Doris, four sisters, Rosie Eikeland and husband Marion, Edith Phillips and husband David, Nina Hope and husband Johnny Ray, and Hazel Kennedy and husband Ross, and nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held July 24, 2010 at 11:00am at New Hope Baptist Church in Brevard, NC.
Asheville Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Transylvania County or the Gideon’s.
